 My name is Júlia Rubau. I'm a catalan artist living in Barcelona.

In 2024 and 2025, I was selected for the Shortbox Comics Fair, an international, digital, and innovative fair that allowed me to create two short comics titled "My Precious Deadly Flower" and "Beyond the Hearth."

​

In 2024, I received the Carnet Jove Comic Award, an initiative by the Agencia Catalana de la Juventut to promote comic creation in Catalan. Thanks to this, I was able to develop my first long-form project and bring it to life. Published in Spain by Astronave, the children’s imprint of Norma Editorial, "El misteri de la geoda rosada" is my first published work.

My work explores life passing by, childhood nostalgia, lovesickness and other complicated feelings told in a familiar tone.
